A Foreign Affair (2003) Rated PG-13

Two brothers choose to find a traditional wife after the loss of their mother, who took care of them. Starring Tim Blake Nelson, David Arquette, and Lois Smith.

This film is nothing like I expected. It isn’t really a comedy – it’s a story about people changing. We have two brothers, and both are momma’s boys who have been taken care of all their lives. When their mother dies, one of them comes up with a plan to go to Russia and get a bride. Along the way, they both learn to live without being so dependent on each other. Emily Mortimer is one actress that I love to watch, and she is brilliant in this film. Nelson and Arquette also grace the screen with their acting chops. This film is worth a watch.
