American Sniper (2014) Rated R

The true story of sniper Chris Kyle as he serves his tour of duties and the family that is home keeping the fires burning. Based on the book American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History by Chris Kyle. Starring Bradley Cooper, Kyle Gallner, and Cole Konis.

This is a film that touches on Kyle’s life. We see him as he learns to be a soldier, his tours, and his life with his wife. Cooper is brilliant as Kyle, and Miller transforms herself into Chris’ wife. The film tells his family’s story as best they could in the time frame they had, but that doesn’t make it a bad film. It’s a brilliant film that tells the life of one of many American heroes. This is a film that should be watched and is worth a watch.
