Exposed (2016) Rated R

A police detective investigates the death of his partner and uncovers some police corruption that involves a woman. Starring Ana de Armas, Gabe Vargas, Sandy Tejada, and Keanu Reeves.

This film is a puzzle. It has multiple twists and turns, making it so that you’re not sure of what you’re seeing. It’s hard to follow, and the performances don’t help – they neither hide what is going on or give any clue as to what is really happening. This film is a psychological drama, but because it jumps around and you’re unsure of which end is up, the ending comes off as anticlimactic. The story really has no purpose. I wish it had been better because I think Reeves could’ve pulled it off, but this film has nothing to bring. It’s not worth a watch.
