Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas (2014) Rated PG

During his annual Christmas party, Kirk Cameron tries to remind his brother-in-law that Jesus Christ is still a vital part of the holiday despite the over commercialized season. Starring Kirk Cameron, Darren Doane, and Bridgette Cameron.

This film is not the best-written or even best-acted. It comes across as more preachy than a good story about family during the holidays. Kirk Cameron does go into the different analogies of the holiday and different ideas about the decorations. This film is not made for nonbelievers; it’s for Christians who continue using the holiday for what it is representing. If you are looking for a Christmas film that focuses on the traditions of the holiday and its meanings, this film is for you. It’s a film that is worth a watch.
