While the actors were wonderful and the writing was brilliant during the first episode, the series just has a “been there, done that” feel.  It’s not original; it’s very reminiscent of Friends. Over time, I think the characters will bring out their unique quirks that will be over exaggerated. Nicole Byer is the only one that seems to hit the jokes well and brings her character to life. Although, she is so different from anyone else that you wonder why she is friends with the others, but Friends had Phoebe, so there’s that. The show has potential but I’m not holding out to see if it develops. It’s not worth a watch.
