Stan Against Evil (IFC) Rated TV-14

An aging police sheriff joins forces with the new sheriff to combat the demons haunting their small town. Starring John C. McGinley, Janet Varney, and Deborah Baker Jr.

Stan Against Evil is a bit of a rip-off from Ash vs. Evil Dead. While there are a lot of similarities, Stan holds its own. The characters are all well-rounded and have depth. However, its continuity is not the best. The timeline of the characters going through time can be messed up. The show rushes through the story in half the show and problems are solved too quickly. This also puts the characters in a hard position regarding whether their actions would be enough to actually change the world. It’s an interesting show but there’s nothing to make me feel it’s worth my time, making it not worth the watch.
