Tom Swift (CW) Rated TV-14

A billionaire whose father has disappeared is thrust into a world of unexplained conspiracies. Starring Tian Richards, Ashleigh Murray, and Marquise Vilson.

This is the summer’s worst green-lighted show. It’s bad. I don’t see how CW thought this show was going to work. Actually, I have some idea – but it’s very illiberal. The show tries to go too Woke and instead, makes it impossible to enjoy. There are just too many things wrong with the program. It’s the worst writing I have seen for a sci-fi show. The main character is so unlikeable that you just wish he was dead. Then, you have the main character struggling with his own sexual fluidity – and they all talk about it. The sci-fi element isn’t even scientifically logical. The characters have no depth to them, and they are all annoying. There isn’t one you can sympathize with; thus, I place the blame on the actors. I’ve never seen worse acting before, and I’m sorry to say I’ve seen some.  I was also very confused by the timeframe – is it happening now in an alternate universe or the future? Nothing made any sense. This show is not worth the watch.
