Emily and Ben are planning their Christmas wedding when she is called away to work and he has to do the final touches with a winter storm on its way. Starring Sarah Paulson, Eric Mabius, and Richard Blackburn.
This film is a bit of a gem for the holiday made-for-TV films. It’s not perfect, but it has the makings of one to watch every year. The script is very much like a traditional “whatever could go wrong, does.” It’s farfetched, but it is sweet. It helps that the actors are great in as their roles. The chemistry works for the most part. While it has everything to make the film great, I just didn’t get the warm fuzzy feeling with this one. Maybe it’s because I really am trying to see Sarah with Eric, but I don’t see the attraction, although, they tried. The film might have been better if it was funny, but I rather like that it isn’t slapstick. It’s good for what it is, and if you are fan of the actors, it is a film worth watching. However, I still think this film is not worth the watch.
