Although, nothing in this movie stands out as bad, I wasn’t feeling it. It felt long-it was 132 minutes-and none of the characters appealed to me. This film was directed by one of my favorites Frank Capra and he did cut out an hour of film before it was released. After the film was released it continued to be cut down because of this 8 minutes are still missing from the film. Even through all that it doesn’t subtract from the film.  I didn’t feel that the story disconnected. I just didn’t connect to the film. The film is also based on book Lost Horizon by James Hilton.
