The Pacific miniseries was produced by the same people who produced Band of Brothers. This should tell you what to expect. It’s a wonderfully produced film. The actors are relatively unknowns which I think help the film. Most critics commented on the lack of character development but I felt that you got to understand the characters and fall in love with them. You get the horror that these men when though as well as the conditions they fought in. It’s one of the best miniseries.
