Great Story. Beautifully filmed. I relished in James Stewart’s performance but I must say that Arthur Kennedy took the show. His performance almost out shines Stewart’s. This film isn’t your average Western. It’s more of a mystery or thriller with Stewart trying to find the person responsible for his brother’s death. This film shows more violence than what was before shown on film. I didn’t feel that the violence over took the plot or that it was too gruesome to watch. It’s a great story and beautifully filmed; it’s well worth a watch.
