Savages (2012) Rated R

SavagesA couple of pot growers take on the Mexican cartel when they kidnapped their shared girlfriend. Starring Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch, Joel David Moore

That synopsis explains it all. I think this film is a waste of time. I was disguised with the story. The pot growers complacency to their business and treating it as a business and not that it is against the law. It also made me very sick their complacency with sharing a girlfriend, like it was a natural event. Through, in the end they did face that issue. This is a film that they make just to say it’s art and so the premise is ok. It’s not. So, this film has no redemptive qualities. I would say this is a miss.
