Pitch Perfect (2012) Rated PG-13

Pitch PerfectA group of a Cappella girls compete against an all male group. Starring Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, Elizabeth Banks

This is a funny musical without the typical breaking out in song and dance. There were times that I thought is this suppose to be funny  because I can’t stop laughing. Although, I must say some of the jokes are mean. The girls are funny, real and confident. This film is going to go down as one of those coming of age films with a great sound track. It’s a modern Breakfast Club/Pretty in Pink/Footloose. It’s at least worth a watch.

By the way, there is a sequel in the works.
