Scents and Sensibility (2011) Rated PG

Sense and SensibilityTwo sisters must learn to defend for themselves when their father was jailed for extortion. Starring Ashley Williams, Marla Sokoloff, Nick Zano, Brad Johnson

This film is an updated version of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. The filmmakers may have wanted to make an updated version of Sense and Sensibility but it lacks Jane Austen’s flare. The characters don’t hold up to Austen’s and the story was boring and typical. It does keep the story clean and wholesome story lines, it still lacks for entertainment. The actors do their best with what’s on hand but it doesn’t keep the story going. This is just an interesting take on Austen but not worth a watch.
