Joseph and His Brethren (1961) Rated NR

joseph and his brethren

The biblical story of Joseph. Starring Geoffrey Horne, Belinda Lee, Robert Morley

This is a very well done story of  Joseph. They, of course, shortened the story. Combined the , I think more to time than anything else. That surprised me but didn’t offend me and it didn’t subtract from the story. It didn’t enhance either but it was enjoyable to watch. Robert Morley as Potiphar was fantastic. I really enjoyed his portrayal. This was an Italian made film and it shows in its character driven theme. Joseph’s complexity of forgiveness and family. It’s worth a view.
