Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (FX) Rated TV-MA

Sex & Drugs & Rock & RollA middle-aged rock n roll musician always wanted to rich and famous.  When his new-found daughter wants her own career as a pop star, they revive his former band as she takes on being the new lead singer. Starring Denis Leary, John Corbett, Elizabeth Gillies , Elaine Hendrix, Robert Kelly, John Ales

The show is a perfect satire for the music industry. With Denis Leary’s writing and perfect comic timing as the aging rock star this show is what it is. An aging musician trying to bring back the good old days of Rock&Roll, just add the sex and drugs. Johnny Rock aka Leary is still trying to live like he is twenty as his daughter tries to take on the music world that has different challenges than what her father had.  The show does titter on the brink of absurdity but I think that adds to the craziness of the music world or of the world of celebrities. If you are a Leary fan or love music, this show is worth a watch.
