A Christmas Tree Miracle (2013) Rated G

Christmas Tree MiracleA down-on-their-luck family must learn what is important in life. Starring Kevin Sizemore, Claudia Esposito, Terry Kiser, Jill Whelan, Barrett Carnahan, Emily Capehart, Siomha Kenney.

I loved the overall message of this film; it just could have been told a lot better. First, the acting is terrible.  With the exception of Kiser (who runs the tree farm) and Kenney (the youngest daughter), all the actors looked like they were trying too hard.  Kenney is delightful, though, as she shows her family the true meaning of Christmas.  I think they could have made the writing on the can a bit more childish, though; I don’t think she would have been able to spell “miracle” correctly without some help.

If you can get past the acting trouble, the message rings loud and clear, making this worth a watch.
