A couple of kids run away, forcing a search party to look for them. Starring Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Jared Gilman, Kara Hayward, Jason Schwartzman.
This is a gem of a film. In his own enigmatic way, director Wes Anderson captures the innocence of childhood, circa 1965. Both lighthearted and fraught with tension, the movie is characterized by Anderson’s trademarks: dry humor and unusual characters. If you’ve never seen one of his films, you must give them a try; they are a stark, intellectual, and refreshing departure from standard Hollywood fare. This film enchants you with young love and adventure; it is worth a watch.
