A Very Married Christmas (2004) Rated TV-PG

a very married ChristmasA man discovers his wife is having an affair, so he gets a job as a mall Santa. Starring  Joe Mantegna, Jean Smart, Kari Matchett, Charles Durning.

You would think, with the caliber of actors involved, this would be a worthwhile film.  You would be mistaken.  It was confusing and trite. Smart’s character does not elicit much sympathy, mainly because they don’t bother to fill our her side of the story.  Mantegna is actually fun to watch, as he dons the Santa costume in the midst being kicked out by his cheating wife.  There is not much else to commend this film.  It is a pass.
