I think this will be a big hit among teenagers, but there are some definite drawbacks for adults. First, the cast bursts into song every five minutes; it’s just too much for a half hour show. The songs don’t even advance the scenes; they are kind of a standalone entity. Second, what is with the mom’s bedroom? With the exception of a cassette tape player, it totally looks like a teenager’s bedroom, which is kind of odd. Come to think of it, though, all the rooms at the lodge are decked out in teen fare, and the only workers are teenagers. Where are the adults? Is this a kids only vacation spot? There just isn’t enough substance here to keep me interested. This show is a pass.
