Toy Story 2 (1999) Rated G

toy-story-2Woody is stolen by a toy collector who is trying to complete his set, and contemplates living in a museum. Starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Don Rickles, John Ratzenberger.

Toy Story 2 is a great continuation of the story about Andy’s toys. This time, Woody gets to see an alternative way to live. Which life will he choose? This isn’t just a sequel to the original Toy Story, it’s a continuation of the characters’ development from Toy Story.  The toys continue to come to terms with how life will be once Andy grows up and no longer has a use for them. The film also takes the toys into the outside world, as they attempt to rescue Woody from the toy collector. The quality of animation exceeds that of the original, and the story line is just as strong as the first movie.  This film is definitely of equal caliber and well worth a watch.
