Manchester by the Sea (2016) Rated R

An uncle returns home to care for his nephew after his brother dies. Starring  Casey Affleck, Ben O’Brien, Kyle Chandler

This film is not spectacular drama but it is a great story. We have two brothers both of whom had struggles in their lives. Then one of the passes away and we have the one brother trying to over come his grief and guilt over the past. It’s a beautiful story. It’s a sad story. It has some dark comedy that made me laugh, as the characters grieve and try to move on in life. I would have liked a more positive ending but what can you do when life doesn’t always sweeten with sugar after giving lemons. This film is worth a watch.
