D’Lo, Mississippi, is a quaint town that looks like it’s stuck in the 1950s. The main street is closing down, and it looks like everyone is moving to the cities to find jobs. However, the mayor is looking to bring the town back into it’s glory days. Starring John Henry Berry, Angie Berry, and Ashley Berry.
This show brings small-town living to life as the life in it ebbs away. Small towns do tend to have colorful characters, but this small town has over-the-top characters. The over-the-top characters are eccentric, and the antics are exaggerated. I understand that they would do anything to help grow their town again, but I don’t know if this is the way to do it. It’s more obnoxious than heartwarming. This series is not worth the watch.
