Heartland Son (2004) Rated NR

A former high school football star returns home after his father dies and must come to terms with both the ghosts from his past and his present problems. Starring Richard Archer, Jaime Luchuck, Stephen G. Black.

Painfully slow and ultimately unfulfilling, this film failed to inspire or entertain. I found myself waiting for the conflict so redemption could come, but there was no real climax to this movie to bring resolution to.  The story itself has been done before and better by others.  There just isn’t anything commendable about this movie; it is a pass.
