Hooten and the Lady (CW) Rated TV-14

An American archaeologist and a British lady travel together in search of rare artifacts. Starring Michael Landes, Ophelia Lovibond, Jessica Hynes.

This show isn’t like anything on TV right now. It’s clean fun as the two opposites get together to track down rare, hidden treasures. The show reminds me a little of the The Librarians on TNT, only it isn’t as well-written. There are hints of these characters’ everyday lives, but they are mostly glossed over. As a viewer, I’d rather see a segment with the fiancé rather than just hear him mentioned about regularly. I think a little this show could do with more well-rounded character development. Still, it’s a great show. I loved it and hope it sticks around. It is worth a watch.
