All’s Faire in Love (2009) Rated PG-13

Two rival Medieval shows vie for supremacy in the world of Renaissance fairs. Starring Christina Ricci, Owen Benjamin, Ann-Margret, Matthew Lillard, Cedric the Entertainer.

This film has some laughs, but overall I thought it was ridiculous. Of course, they poke fun at Renaissance fairs and even Medieval times. This film could have worked better if they hadn’t tried so hard to garner laughs and instead focused on the story of actors working at Renaissance Fairs. Some of the content is just so random, like they threw it in just for effect, only it produced the wrong effect: making you wonder why you are watching this inane film. It is a pass.
