Snitch (2013) Rated PG-13

A father goes undercover for the DEA to free his son after he is imprisoned for a drug deal. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Barry Pepper, Jon Bernthal.

This film is based off of a change in the drug trafficking laws, which makes first time offenders serve time if they don’t snitch on other perpetrators. Not based on a true story, just an interpretation of reality, I have to say that it lacked in storytelling and had too many inconsistencies. Johnson performed well, but in the end, it was just another action film, without much to distinguish it from all the others. I guess it could be fun to watch on movie night, but overall, it is a pass.
