This show is a revival of the 1987 version of Showtime at the Apollo. It is a typical reality show which pits performers against each other. The show takes place at the Apollo Theater in New York, and it is structured like the format used in the 80’s. In this day and age where we reality shows are a dime a dozen, it is hard to find one that really stands out. Although Steve Harvey is a great host, there just isn’t enough originality to distinguish this show from all the others. It is a pass.
