World War Z (2013) Rated PG-13

A former United Nations investigator is in a race against time to save the world from the zombie apocalypse. Based on the book, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks. Starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, and Daniella Kertesz.

This film is entertaining and has everything that you could want from a zombie flick. It has action, horror, and suspense, but what it doesn’t have is originality. World War Z is basically a blockbuster version of 28 Days Later, meaning that the action is at a higher rate than those other zombie apocalypse movies. The film’s pacing makes it difficult for character development, and there isn’t much gore. It’s mostly just an action film with zombies. The story takes you on a wild, fast-paced ride, making it worth a watch.
