The Commuter (2018) Rated PG-13

An ex-cop becomes wrapped up in a conspiracy while taking his regular commute home. Starring Liam Neeson, Vera Farmiga, and Patrick Wilson.

Again, this is another film with an interesting premise that falls short in delivery. What brings the story together is done so loosely. The film starts out fine by setting up the characters, the mystery, and the action. However, after the first premise is set up, the film brings forth twists that make you realize just how absurd the conspiracy is and how unrealistic the film really is. It takes you on a rollercoaster of twists and turns with plenty of action, but it doesn’t have the back story to make the film go WOW. This movie isn’t worth the watch.
