Life As We Know It (2010) Rated PG-13

Two single adults become guardians to their best friends’ daughter. Starring Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, and Josh Lucas.

This is one of those cute little rom-com films. It doesn’t have anything of too much substance, but it does have some laughs and romance as the main characters come together. Duhamel and Heigl have good chemistry; although, Heigl still struggles with an assumption of herself. She does a wonderful job portraying a woman who knows her own mind and cares about those around her. The film also holds the line between the sad situation the characters find themselves in and the unrealistic romance typical of a rom-com. This film is worth a watch.
