Mrs. Santa Claus (1996) Rated G

Mrs. Claus feels neglected during Santa’s busy season, so she takes the sled and reindeer out for a spin and winds up lost in New York City. Starring Angela Lansbury, Michael Jeter, and Terrence Mann.

This is a fun Christmas musical. Angela Lansbury is always a joy to watch. The story is pretty basic, but it takes place in 1910 and brings forth the political issues of the time, which is the basis of the film. The costumes are beautiful; the singing isn’t too bad, but it could’ve been better. Overall, it’s a fun film that would be enjoyable on a wintry Christmas night. It’s worth a watch.
