Christmas on Chestnut Street (2006) Rated TV-PG

A store has overstocked Christmas lights for the holiday season. To sell the abundance of lights, the store starts a contest that puts the town in chaos, but the owner doesn’t want to end the competition. Starring Kristen Dalton, Robert Moloney, and Garry Chalk.

This is one of those films that tries to capture the holiday spirit but doesn’t. The actors struggled with chemistry throughout the film; I’m not sure which was worse – the script or the actors trying to bring it to life. The music didn’t fit scenes, and there were camera problems at times. This film is a comedy, but it lacks in comical moments. If this were a Hallmark film, it probably would have been sweeter – but I don’t know if they could have saved the movie. This film isn’t worth a watch.
