The Mark (2012) Rated NR

Chad Turner has been implanted with a computer chip that can change the world. While people hunt him down for the implanted chip, the Rapture happens and causes chaos in the world. Starring Craig Sheffer, Sonia Couling, and Eric Roberts.

This isn’t the best film out there, but it was an interesting take on the end times. In the film, Turner has been implanted with a computer chip that represents the “mark of the beast.” While he tries to protect the chip from evil people who want to use it to rule the world, the rapture occurs. The world is thrown into chaos, and everyone is trying to figure out what is happening. You can tell this production doesn’t have a big budget; it’s not the best script, but I loved the action. Not many Christian films do action like this one does. Is the script biblically sound? I would say that the film is an interesting take on the end times and not necessarily doctrinal. It was an interesting movie and worth the watch.
