Jeff, a kids’ show host, struggles to keep his sanity and his family together. Starring  Jim Carrey, Frank Langella, and Catherine Keener.

This show is amazing – it’s brilliance is found in Jeff’s dealing with the loss of his son, which has, of course, affected his entire family. Jeff tries to balance his life as a celebrity, where the show must go on, with coming to terms with his family falling apart. Jim Carrey plays the father and TV host who is trying to hold his family together. I’ve always enjoyed Carrey’s dramatic performances; I think they showcase his acting chops, unlike his slapstick comedies. This is worth a  watch.
