A Happening of Monumental Proportions (2017) Rated R

It’s career day at an elementary school, and a group of students finds themselves caught in a plot of sex, lies and a dead body. Starring Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Garner, and Storm Reid.

This is one of the worst films I have seen. The story revolves around one day of school where students and parents converge. The film is a mess; the plot is absurd. It’s supposed to be a comedy, but there’s nothing funny about it. The film goes downhill immediately as soon as the dead body appears and the adults move it. The film has a mix of sex, lies, a dead body, adultery, and a lottery ticket. Not to mention the children seem to be more like adults than the actual adults. It just has a group of stupid parents. The film’s plot is mostly “let’s see how many off-the-wall things can we add while still coming off as a film.” This is not worth a watch.
