A musician helps a young star rise as his career is derailed by age and alcoholism. Starring Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, and Sam Elliott.
This film is enjoyable to watch as the two fall in love; the chemistry between Gaga and Cooper was palpable. What frustrated me about this film was the plot holes. There are moments that don’t flow as nicely or smoothly as they could. Although, you still get the gut punch with the ending and the overall feeling of the film. It’s got the story that pulls you in and the chemistry between the actors despite the fact that I felt Bradley Cooper’s performance is overdone at times. The positives far outweigh the negatives throughout the film, making it worth a watch.
