The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) Rated PG

Four kids travel through a wardrobe to a magical world led by a kingly lion. Based on the book by C.S. Lewis. Starring Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, and William Moseley.

I know, I’ve said this before, but I am not a fan of fantasy films or books. I love C.S. Lewis’ allegory in his stories. That is one thing I do love to see in his books and films. Having said that, this is by far the best interpretation of his book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, I have ever seen. The performances by all the actors were amazing. They pulled you right into the story. I really appreciated the performance of James McAvoy’s Mr. Tumnus.  The British really know how to tell their stories. Plus, the CGI didn’t get in the way of the story.  I think this is one of the best-made films ever, making it worth a watch.
