Welcome to Sweden (NBC) Rated TV-PG

A New York City accountant moves with his Swedish girlfriend back to Sweden. Starring Greg Poehler, Josephine Bornebusch, and Lena Olin.

This show was a pleasant surprise. With its subtle cultural humor, which anyone that has lived outside the U.S. would understand, this is one of the most brilliant new comedy shows. The show lacks in character development, but I think the genius of the show is in the writing of Poehler’s life, which the show is based on. The show does have they typical stereotypes; it’s not a perfect show, but I really enjoyed Bornebusch and Poehler’s chemistry. It’s a show that I would love to continue to watch, but I’m afraid that it might have problems getting an audience. It’s worth a watch.
