Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) Rated NR

Two showgirls head to Paris and are followed by a private investigator hired by one of their future fathers-in-laws and other admirers. Starring Jane Russell, Marilyn Monroe, and Charles Coburn.

This film is a classic 1950s film. We have two women that seem to be dumb, but in fact, are very smart women. It’s a musical that, of course, has great musical numbers throughout. It’s mostly a cute fluff film that doesn’t have much of a story to tell. It’s just two women stuck on a boat, traveling to Europe, and the shenanigans that they get into. This is another cute 50s film that is worth a watch.
