Primal follows a caveman at the dawn of evolution and his friend, a dinosaur that’s on the brink of extinction. They bond over their friendship as tragedy surrounds them. Starring Aaron LaPlante, Tom Kenny, and Jon Olson.

This show is brilliantly written, and the animation is the best I’ve seen. The series relies on action rather than spoken word as we watch the pair try to survive in a  world that is uncivilized.  The show is for adults; the violence in it is true to the time period – it’s every man and beast for himself. It touches you. Of course, the show isn’t historically accurate, but the story pulls you in and makes you wonder how these two will survive. This show is worth a watch.
