It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966) Rated NR

The Peanuts gang celebrates Halloween while Linus waits for the Great Pumpkin. Starring Peter Robbins, Christopher Shea, and Sally Dryer.

It’s not Halloween without the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. This is a classic short film that just brings us into the Halloween spirit with trick or treating, pumpkins, and costumes. Of course, there is no inspirational message like A Charlie Brown Christmas, but Linus’ Great Pumpkin watch is one that gives hope. This is a classic, and it comes from a time when life was simpler and maybe better than the political correctness and reassuring kids today. Charles Schultz created the Peanuts for kids, and that is why there aren’t many adults around, and when they are, they sound like how kids hear adults talking, Wah Wah. This is a film worth a watch, especially for kids.
