Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) Rated PG-13

Lawman Hobbs and outcast Shaw team up to fight a cyber-genetic villain that threatens the world. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba.

This has to be the worst film I’ve yet to see from the Fast and the Furious franchise. The writing was so bad, and the banter between the two characters was terrible. It didn’t even come across as entertaining – it was just downright obnoxious. I kept wanting to turn it off; once or twice is enough, but every single time they opened their mouth! I was surprised the actors were able to continue pulling it off throughout the film. The action scenes were also unrealistic, but I think that is the way the franchise is going because the last Furious film I watched had unrealistic action scenes in it too. This film was pointless and not worth a watch.
