Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014) Rated PG

Alexander, always seems to have a bad day but when the worst day of his life seems to happen the bad day expands to his family. Based on the book by Judith Viorst. Starring Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Ed Oxenbould

This film is one of those good family films, that promotes family. It’s got some laughs and the acting was enjoyable to watch. There are some crude humor but nothing shocking.  The film does is not a remake of the book but rather a retelling of the story. The family is over the top sweet and perfect, they never have a bad day. Thus, brings us to Alexander, who wishes his family would have bad days like he does and that’s when things go from bad to worst. This is a film that doesn’t have anything that makes it memorable. It’s not a film that sticks out, it’s one that you won’t miss if you haven’t seen it. Thus, making the film not worth a watch.
