The Factory (2012) Rated R

A cop is on the trail of a serial killer when his own daughter is kidnapped, so now he drops everything in order to get the killer. Starring John Cusack, Jennifer Carpenter, and Dallas Roberts.

This film is interesting; we have Cusack playing a part that he has played a number of times. It’s a dark film with a twist at the end that you don’t see coming. The film doesn’t give you any clues on the twist in the end, which comes as a surprise. It’s not the best written – it was as if they continued to put obstacles in the cop’s way that don’t need to be there. The film is gory and lacks plot development. I wish this film had been put together better, but, alas, it’s not worth a watch.
