The Bold Type (Freeform) Rated TV-14

This show is inspired by the loves and lives of those working at a global women’s magazine. Starring Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, and Meghann Fahy.

This show is brilliantly written, and the cast is also very brilliant. However, the show didn’t leave an indelible mark on me. We follow the lives of three young women as they conquer the publishing world. There isn’t much new to the show; we have seen other shows similar, and of course, the world does not revolve around sex, unlike these three portray. Also, it’s unrealistic that one girl is in a hidden relationship with an older man from the office and claims she wants more than sex. He, of course, steps up to plate. This show is brilliant and a joy to watch, but take it for what it is – worth a watch.
