A rookie cop tries to track down the killer of a 15-year old girl. Starring Hayley Atwell, Richard Coyle, and Julian Lewis Jones.

This series has a good story. The British are good at telling mystery stories. The casting is good. The story takes place over three decades. They do a good job of portraying the different decades, but the makeup department didn’t do much to make Atwell look 30 years older. However, the one-hour segments that each cover a 10-year span don’t move the story along at a good pace. There are gaps in the story that leave you wondering. The character isn’t the best at police work, but somehow she still gets the bad guy. With all the negative aspects of the show, it’s still entertaining enough to make it worth a watch.
