Basic (2003) Rated R

A DEA agent investigates the disappearance of a drill sergeant and his cadets during a training exercise.  Starring John Travolta, Connie Nielsen, Samuel L. Jackson

This film takes us on a journey that has lots of twists and turns. You think you know what is happening and then another twist happens and you don’t know what is going on again. The acting was good but the story can be confusing. Of course, the ending with the twists and turns through out the story makes the ending anticlimactic. This film could’ve been great if it had more of a concise storyline. It is a story that brings you in but then keeps messing with your head on what actual happened, making the film not worth a watch.
