Mad Mel: The Rise and Fall of a Hollywood Icon (2010) Rated NR

A look at the rise and fall of Mel Gibson in Hollywood. Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Mel Gibson.

This is a journalist’s view on the rise and fall of Gibson’s career in Hollywood. It’s the opinions of these journalists or film critics, and it isn’t very forgiving to Mel. They use archive footage to tell the story of Mel rising as Hollywood’s sex symbol to the fall from grace that happened in 2010. Basically, they felt that Mel was in the wrong with the leaked tapes. I think he was provoked, but that’s just me. I wish it had been more of a documentary and not just an opinion piece. It’s not worth a watch.
