Silver Bells (2013) Rated TV-G

A sportscaster winds up doing community service during December as a Salvation Army bell ringer. Starring Bruce Boxleitner, Kenton Duty, and Antonio Fargas.

This film is one of those over-the-top cheesy holiday films. However, it’s also a great advertisement for the Salvation Army’s bell-ringing donations. Unfortunately, the film is very low budget, and the acting isn’t always the best, with little chemistry between the actors. Overall, the film is great for the Christian storyline and tries to bring awareness to the Salvation Army’s work with helping people in times of need. I just wish the story wasn’t so cheesy and over-the-top to give us a better sense of who they are. Sadly, this film is not worth a watch.
